2022-23 Registration Form & Fees for Garfield Jazz Ensembles
The Garfield Jazz Foundation manages the expenses of running our world-class jazz program. Funds are used for classroom materials, equipment, music transcription, instrument purchases and maintenance, festival registration fees, as well as time with clinicians to work with students. It also ensures that every student can participate in jazz programming regardless of their ability to pay.
Our budget for non-travel expenses is just under $60,000. Registration fees will cover approximately $8,000 of this total. The remainder will be covered by fundraising activities. If we travel for festivals, those fees will be assessed separately and will differ depending on which band the student is in.
This year we are asking families to pay a per student pay-what-you-can Registration Fee of $100. You can choose to pay the full $100, $50, $0 or anything in between. If the fee is in any way a burden, please indicate the amount your family can comfortably contribute on the “Amount Paid” line below. If your family would like to contribute an amount greater than the fee to help offset Jazz Foundation expenses, we welcome and appreciate your support.
