In this program, gardeners rent a plot of land at a garden site, and Crops provides the tools, water, seeds and seedlings to help support them. Crops will also provide educational opportunities throughout the year. Please look to our website or contact our office if you have additional questions.
Participation in this program involves attending a gardener orientation in the spring, attending garden care maintenance days throughout the growing season, and cleaning your plot before November 1, 2018.
Gardeners pay a security deposit and a plot fee for the year. We do offer financial aid options. The security deposit is $50 or $25 with financial aid and will be returned at the end of year when plots are cleaned out. Renting one plot for the growing season is $75 or $10 with financial aid.
Please fill out the following application thoroughly. Your answers will give us important information that we need to use for grant reporting. Your information will remain confidential. Crops will follow up with you this spring with specific information about your plot placement and fees.
Although it may seem early to sign up to garden, the sooner you get your application in, the sooner we can reserve you a space for next year. We look forward to working together in the community gardens.____________________________________________________________________________________
