Welcome to the application for the 2019 Duke-UNC China Leadership Summit (CLS)! Every year CLS brings together around 150 promising student delegates from across the U.S. and China to engage with leading experts on prominent issues facing U.S. - China relations. This years conference will take place from March 22-24, 2019. The theme for this year's conference is "China's New Norms." MAIN ESSAY: Pick a theme or issue of interest related to U.S.-China relations (examples include: Chinese culture, cultural diplomacy, geopolitics, climate change, cybersecurity, US-China trade war, cross-strait relations, Belt and Road Initiative, etc...)
