2024 WeTeach_CS Change Maker Awards (Administrator/Counselor)

Please complete this form to nominate a Texas administrator or counselor for the WeTeach_CS Change Maker Award. One award of $750 will be given in 2024. You may self-nominate. In addition to this application, two letters of recommendation are required and should be submitted via email to judy@tacc.utexas.edu. These can be from teachers, counselors, colleagues, administrators, parents and/or students and should address the following questions:

What about this administrator qualifies them as a CS education champion in the state of Texas for CS?
How has this administrator impacted their campus or district CS courses?
How has this administrator increased access to CS for students that aren't usually represented in CS courses?
What has this administrator done to advance and promote CS beyond the courses offered on their campus or within their district?

*** NOMINATIONS WITH LETTERS OF SUPPORT ARE DUE BY FRIDAY, APRIL 26, 2024 ***

Award recipients will be notified no later than May 6, 2024. The WeTeach_CS Change Maker Awards will be presented at the WeTeach_CS Summit on June 11-12, 2024 in Fort Worth, TX. Each award recipient will receive a full scholarship that covers all expenses related to the Summit including registration, transportation, lodging, and parking.
