York Pride 2018
GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS CONSENT FORM: VOLUNTEERS (NEW)
York Pride is a voluntary organisation and relies on individuals to provide their time and effort for no remuneration so that we can deliver the annual York Pride Parade and Festival, and other events during the year, in support of the LGBT community. The York Pride Privacy Policy sets out how we shall attain compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations and gives you an assurance that your personal data is held and processed only for the purpose for which you gave it to us.

As a new volunteer for York Pride, or a past volunteer for whom we no longer hold any personal details, we require your consent to hold and process personal details. By completing this form you are giving your consent for York Pride to hold the personal information you have provided below and to contact you by email and where you have said ‘yes’ by telephone. This information will: be used solely in relation to your volunteering with York Pride; be seen only by those York Pride officials who need it in the execution of their duties; it will not be released to other third parties unless a legal requirement orders us to do so; and you can request its deletion at any time. Under our Privacy Policy we shall ask you annually whether you give us your consent for us to continue to hold your personal information. The full conditions of how we handle your personal information are set out in the York Pride Privacy Policy, which is available on our web site and a copy will be given to you on receipt of this consent form, but Section 3 of that Policy which relates to Volunteers is reproduced below in the Privacy Notice box.
