Project Youth is a one day event where 1000 5th and 6th graders from low-income schools in Utah county come visit BYU. The elementary students are led by a BYU student group leader to presentations given by BYU faculty and clubs, are taken on a campus tour, and attend a huge power rally.
The goal of our program is to encourage these elementary students to reach their full academic potential and to excite them about all the possibilities at the university level!
We need BYU student volunteers to lead the student groups, which is where you come in! If you don't already have enough reasons to get involved: there's a volunteer appreciation lunch after the rally with FREE PIZZA. You'll also get a rad T-SHIRT. What more could you ever want?!
