Eligibility
• The application must be submitted by a Junior Thespian Troupe Director
• The applying troupe must have never previously attended a Texas Junior Thespians Festival
• The applying troupe must demonstrate financial barriers to attending
• The applying troupe will receive a one-time grant to cover the basic Texas Junior Thespians Festival registration fees for troupe members including Troupe Director and Chaperones
• The total grant will cover only registration fees up to and will not exceed $800. Hotel rooms are not included.
• Registration fees does NOT include competition fees.
• This grant’s judging committee may choose not to award this scholarship if, in their opinion, there are no deserving applicants.
Grant Criteria
• The troupe applying cannot have attended the Texas Junior Thespians Festival in the past.
• The troupe applying must be able to demonstrate financial barriers to attending the Texas Junior Thespians Festival.

Application Requirements
• A list of the Thespians being brought to the Thespian Festival if selected.
• A count of total adults (designate as Troupe Director, Asst Director, or Chaperone)
• A letter of recommendation from an administrator (principal, school board member, or department head) supporting the financial barriers experienced by the troupe applying.
