Community members wishing to provide on-line comment at a Milford School Board of Education public meeting must submit a request via this form no later than 7 PM the day before the scheduled meeting. Speakers must be available to speak with the camera on promptly at the time which the name is called during the Public Comment section of the meeting. There will be no other opportunities to provide public comment outside of the designated section of each meeting.
The Board shall enforce the following rules during public comment:
- The Board will not respond to any comments made during the public comment period unless the topic is included in the meeting's agenda, and then only during the appropriate board discussion period.
- A form will be made available before every regular meeting to request time to address the Board. Requests should include the name, address, and phone number of the speaker along with the topic or concern.
- Personnel issues may not be discussed in open session. Names of Board members or employees of the District should not be used in public comment.
- Each person signed up for public comment will receive three (3) minutes to speak. Time is not transferrable.
By submitting the form, the individual has read, understands, and agrees to comply with the terms and conditions set forth on the form and Board Policy 8503.
