An Indigenous People's History of the U.S. Discussion Group for POC
The UU Ministry for Earth People of Color (POC) Caucus is hosting a three part discussion of Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz's An Indigenous People's History of the U.S. and how it relates to our origin stories/implicit theologies of Unitarian Universalism. We hope that this will serve as the beginning of a virtual covenant group focused on decolonizing our faith and centering indigenous people, wisdom and liberation. UUMFE has 30 copies of the book for people who need a copy. It is also available as an audio book.

The Book discussion will happen on January 27, February 24, and March 31 at 6PM CST.

Please fill our this form by Nov. 20 if you need a copy of the text.

This program is offered in conjunction with the Environmental Justice Practitioners Network covenant group program about Decolonizing Conversations: Solidarity with Indigenous Land & Water Protectors: https://www.uumfe.org/get-involved/environmental-justice-practitioners-network/
