Disclaimer: International travel is not recommended while school is in session. Traveling outside of school terms, such as during annual vacation or winter break, is generally a much safer option.
If you must travel while school is in session and outside of your approved Annual Vacation semester, it is not recommended to be out of the U.S. for longer than 2 weeks as extended travel may catch the unwanted attention of Customs & Border Protection (CBP) officials upon re-entry. Should circumstances require international travel for longer than 2 weeks, please consult with your International Student Advisor.
