MSU ELI Special Programs Volunteer Sign-up
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Special Programs at the Missouri State University English Language Institute.
We are welcoming international youth and adult students to the MSU campus for five summer camps, and they want to meet you! Students are from countries around the world, primarily in Latin America and Asia.
Volunteering opportunities are between July 2 and August 5.

Two types of volunteering opportunities are available; you can choose one or both options.

Option 1: Conversation Circles are casual events designed to foster understanding and communication between MSU / Springfield residents and our program participants.

Option 2: Classroom Volunteers interact with our students during classes and workshops. They gain useful classroom observation hours and can, if desired, be involved in teaching or leading some class activities.

Please take a moment to answer the following questions so that we can best match you with your desired volunteer experience.

Please note: each volunteer will receive a log for tracking volunteer hours. Volunteers who contact our office with a completed hours log at the end of the program will receive a certificate of appreciation.
