Please join us for a discussion on the ways the U.S. foreign assistance and policy engages youth, featuring remarks from Rep. Grace Meng and Sarah Gesiriech, former U.S. Government Special Advisor on Children in Adversity at USAID. Vice President of International Children’s Policy at First Focus on Children, Kathy Sacco, will moderate a panel of young people spanning Kenya, Uganda and the United States advocating for more effective foreign policies to positively impact youth.
On the heels of the freshly updated USAID Youth in Development Policy, this timely discussion will cover how recent events have reshaped and often upended the well-being of millions of vulnerable populations globally. As the world moves on from the pandemic, young people are grappling with a new reality and the best solutions to the challenges facing them.
