We formed the Colorado Solidarity Fund because we believe that everyone should be able to invest in local businesses that serve the community. Our group is composed of everyday people—business owners, community leaders, teachers and nonprofit workers—who want their money to support the solidarity economy, including cooperatives and community land trusts.
Each of our members contributes $20-200 per month to make loans or purchase shares in cooperatives, community land trusts and other solidarity economy businesses. By coming together we're able to do more than we could individually.
We are reaching out to you to hear about your capital needs. As we begin to pool our resources, we want to make sure that we are serving the local solidarity economy.
