WEC Environmental College Scholarship Application

The Washington Environmental Council is offering scholarships of up to $2,000 for students who intend to or are pursuing environmental majors in college (including but not limited to: Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Botany, Marine Biology, and Forestry). The scholarship is open to any Washington, Roxbury or Bridgewater student in sound scholastic standing provided the student attends or has attended high school in Washington. Residents of Washington will have preference, all other application factors being equal. Funds are available to help with tuition, room and board, and other educational expenses.

NEW APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
In addition to this application, new applicants must submit 1) TWO letters of recommendation, one personal (other than family) or employment reference and one school letter of recommendation, and 2) an official transcript of their grades for the past four years.

PREVIOUS WEC SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS:
Existing scholarship recipients must submit 1) ONE school letter of recommendation and 2) an official college transcript of their grades.

DEADLINE:
All materials MUST be received or postmarked by April 13, 2019. Applications received after this time will be reviewed based upon available funds.
