[UBC MLC]  🌟 Interest Form: BCIT Medical Laboratory Tour

We’re planning exciting lab tours at BCIT’s Medical Laboratory Science facilities! These tours are a unique opportunity to explore the labs behind medical laboratory testing, see hands-on laboratory science in action, and learn more about the different fields of Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT).

BCIT has an impressive suite of labs covering the core MLT disciplines, including clinical chemistry, hematology, medical microbiology, histology, transfusion science (blood banking), and molecular diagnostics. This is a great chance to learn more about these fields, explore the technologies and techniques used in each specialty, and gain insight into potential career paths in medical laboratory science.

Please let us know your availability and which areas interest you most so we can organize tours that best suit everyone's interests!

These tours will be contingent on:

  1. Your availability dates
  2. How many people are interested so we can arrange appropriate group sizes 
  3. What exactly you are interested in most so that the tour leaders can talk about what matters to you :)
