The Freelance Marketing Editor will play a crucial role in crafting, editing, and optimizing marketing content across various platforms. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of marketing strategies, and the ability to create compelling content that aligns with the SUCCESS brand. The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and has a proven track record in editing marketing materials.
This is a contract position, working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Editing: Edit and proofread a wide range of marketing materials, including blog posts, email campaigns, social media content, landing pages, and promotional materials, ensuring they are clear, compelling, and error-free.
Content Creation: Assist in creating high-quality marketing content that aligns with brand guidelines and supports marketing objectives.
Optimization: Optimize content for SEO, readability, and engagement to maximize reach and impact.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, content creators, and designers to ensure cohesive and effective messaging across all platforms.
Brand Consistency: Maintain and enforce brand voice and style guidelines to ensure consistency in all marketing communications.
Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve content quality and effectiveness.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously within Monday.com, ensuring all deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of marketing content.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in marketing editing or a related role.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
Proficiency in SEO best practices and content optimization techniques preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Experience with digital marketing, social media, and email marketing is strongly preferred.
