The Freelance Marketing Editor will play a crucial role in crafting, editing, and optimizing marketing content across various platforms. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of marketing strategies, and the ability to create compelling content that aligns with the SUCCESS brand. The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and has a proven track record in editing marketing materials.

This is a contract position, working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Editing: Edit and proofread a wide range of marketing materials, including blog posts, email campaigns, social media content, landing pages, and promotional materials, ensuring they are clear, compelling, and error-free.

  • Content Creation: Assist in creating high-quality marketing content that aligns with brand guidelines and supports marketing objectives.

  • Optimization: Optimize content for SEO, readability, and engagement to maximize reach and impact.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, content creators, and designers to ensure cohesive and effective messaging across all platforms.

  • Brand Consistency: Maintain and enforce brand voice and style guidelines to ensure consistency in all marketing communications.

  • Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve content quality and effectiveness.

  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously within Monday.com, ensuring all deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.

  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of marketing content.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing editing or a related role.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.

  • Proficiency in SEO best practices and content optimization techniques preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Experience with digital marketing, social media, and email marketing is strongly preferred.
