Oaks Ministry Collaborative exists to equip the local church to be a rehabilitative community for the healing process. We are a support ministry, rather than a counseling ministry. Our services include rehabilitative relationships of peer support for though advocates (one-on-one support) and groups. Oaks provides preventative and rehabilitative psychological support through the local church, and so our support care is administered through volunteers as a free service. Oaks does not provide clinical counseling or certified biblical counseling, though spiritual counsel may happen as part of a rehabilitative support connection. We do not diagnose, assess, or treat mental illness. Oaks will consult with a clinical counselor when a situation exceeds our level of support care.
