Betsy Lawson Willis Education Scholarship Application
Thank you for your interest in applying to Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture's Betsy Lawson Willis Education scholarship! Scholarships will be awarded on a first come first serve basis, based on eligibility and application strength, at the discretion of the scholarship committee. Applications from historically underserved farmers and ranchers are prioritized.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Gross Cash Farm Income (GCFI) is a farm's annual income before expenses. It is the sum of cash receipts, farm-related cash income (including agritourism activities), and Government direct farm program payments.

You can apply for gas expenses to be covered at the 2023 federal mileage rate of 65.5 cents per mile. Please include anticipated mileage, addresses, and cost here.

To calculate your anticipated mileage costs, use Google Maps to find exact mileage, and multiply that by the 65.5 cent mileage rate.
