Palestine – 10 days | January 2 - 13, 2024

Bosnia – 6 days | January 13 - 19

Both segments include all hotels, breakfasts and dinners, bus transportation, transfers from airport, major tips for guides and bus driver, entrance fees. Neither includes airfare and personal expenses.

Airfare Costs
Roundtrip JFK – Tel Aviv – Sarajevo – JFK: $1,540 group rate
Palestine only – TBD

 
A $500 refundable deposit is due at the time of application. Deadline for applications and payment of group airfare is November 1, 2023. Full payment is due by December 1, 2023.

Tree of Life will provide a limited amount of need-based scholarship assistance towards the cost of Israel/Palestine journey costs only, not the extension. Applications for scholarships MUST accompany the main application in addition to a $500 refundable deposit.

Airline Travel
Tree of Life has secured group airfare on Turkish Air.
We strongly prefer that you join the group since it is much easier to all travel together.

Tree of Life honors a three-part covenant for its journeys:

1. Before the journey, to begin learning by reading texts and watching films the trip leaders recommend.

2. During the journey, to travel in a spirit of humility, being willing to listen more than we speak, to live simply, and to honor the hospitality extended to us. We journey to listen to Christian, Jewish, and Muslim voices of conscience, not to engage in demonstrations or tell people who live in Israel/Palestine what they should or should not do.

3. When we return home, to do what we can to amplify the voices of conscience we have had the privilege of hearing, sharing our reflections and experiences as we feel called.
