Hello parents, this is to sign up as a driver for field trips. Our goal is to help keep costs down, and having a parent driver helps with this. We still aim to have three trips per month:
- One off-the-mountain
- One on-the-mountain
- One at Thousand Pines
Trips to Thousand Pines are generally the third Thursday of the month, and will have drop off and pick up at the camp, and run from 8:30-2:30, the same hours as the ALC at Sandals Church Lake Arrowhead. No additional drivers will be requested as families will bring their student to the camp on those days. Thousand Pines experiences will focus on "camp style" activities.
Other trips will focus on educational, professional, and spiritual development. They will generally conform to the same time, but may be longer for further destinations, which will be notified in advance. Meeting point for on and off mountain trips will be the upper parking lot of LACS. Pick up or drop off times outside of the normal 8:30-2:30 schedule will be communicated a minimum of a week in advance.
