Iowa 2023 - 911 Grant Applications
In accordance with Code of Iowa Chapter 34A, Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEMD) has developed this grant application for use of Operating Surplus Funds for the purposes of public education and training for PSAP personnel.  Grant rules for applications appear immediately below:
 
*  HSEMD along with the 911 Communications Council will review and approve the applications on a monthly basis.  Applications must be submitted completely and accurately one week prior to scheduled 911 Council Meeting dates to be placed on the agenda.

*  The application must include a detailed project description, with copies of cost proposals and associated timeline.  This is required to verify that the project will utilize the wireless carryover funds in accordance with Code of Iowa, Chapter 34A.  Applications will not be accepted if detailed project description is not included.

*  Only items appearing on the initial, approved application will be reimbursed.  Similar items of equal or lesser value will be evaluated on a case by case basis and may be reimbursed.

*  Applications must be approved prior to project work beginning

*  Supporting documentation including items such as quotes, plans, agendas etc. must be sent to 911@iowa.gov in addition to submitting this application
