Mentee

There are many stages in life where we might benefit from more experience. Mentor-ship cannot be forced and should be mutually rewarding to the mentor and mentee. Mentees are merely agreeing to reach out for some initial communication with your assigned mentor. Then give feedback to the program coordinator. You should start by some brief exchange of phone calls, texts or email and schedule an initial conference call. Any Mentee under 21 should include a parent, guardian or family member in the early calls.

Any live meetings between a youth and an adult should be in a public place with other people present. This opportunity is what you mutually make of it. Therefore there is no obligation for a long term commitment between any attempted mentor and mentee. This program is in pilot stages and is currently open to anybody During the pilot you may also request the coordinator to assign you up to 3 mentors. If you have questions or feedback please contact Jim Ensign.
