What does a Seminar Leader do?
*** Teach a self-designed seminar ***
As a Seminar Leader, you will have the chance to design your own seminar on any liberal arts topic and teach it to Vietnamese high school students! The seminar should be a 3-session curriculum, with each seminar session lasting 1.5 hrs. You will teach this curriculum twice a day, and twice again to a different set of students for the second half of the program.

*** Be a Housemaster ***
Modeled after Harvard's residential house system, HVIET's house system randomly sorts students into 6 different houses co-led by Harvard SLs and Vietnamese TAs. Harvard SLs can bond with the students over daily house meetings, and students can participate in various interesting house activities, such as a scavenger hunt in the city and karaoke night.

*** Lead a Workshop/Extracurricular Activity ***
All SLs are required to lead a workshop or extracurricular activity, which can be anything from salsa dancing to public speaking practice. Students really enjoy bonding with the SLs over extracurricular activities!
