Sustainable cotton farm tour

In case you are planning to attend the Sustainable Cotton Farm tour, please, note and agree to the following:

Itinerary sustainable cotton farm tour

The sustainable cotton farm tour comes at a cost of $70 to each participant. The tour includes 


- Lunch at a local winery and snacks on the bus

- Lectures by farmers and scientists

- Picking cotton in the field

- Experience the harvesting of cotton

- Visit to a working ginn

- USDA bale identification system

Stay at hotel for sustainable cotton farm tour

The tour starts at 8 AM. Therefore, participants are expected to spend the night from the 29th to 30th in the Apricot Hotel near the farm. A bus will collect them from there in the morning to take them to the farm.

Option for travel to the hotel

There is no direct public transport to the farm or the hotel. The Sustainable Cotton Project is sponsoring a coach that travels from Los Angeles to the Apricot Inn at 3 pm on the 29th and returns to LA on the 30th by appr. 8 pm.
