The Board encourages parents of current students, students who are currently sophomores or juniors at SMHS, teachers, classified staff, and community members who reside or are employed within the SMUSD boundaries, to apply to serve on the FAC for a two-year term. The application window will close on Tuesday, February 19, at noon.
The Board of Education will consider the appointment of members to the FAC at its meeting on Monday, February 25, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. in the District Board Room. The first meeting of the FAC will be on Thursday, March 14, 2019, from 5-7 p.m. in the District Board Room. Subsequent meetings will typically take place on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, except for June and July, through November.
