Battle of The Bands 2024: Band Applications
Greetings Rockstars!

To apply to play in this year’s show, complete this applications form. Please note spots are limited to 6 bands and applying does not guarantee a spot in the lineup. Funds raised and sponsorships from past years may play a role band selection. Once accepted, each band is asked to either:
  • submit the $1,000 entry fee donation, or 
  • secure event sponsorship from their firm/company for at least $1,000. 
Both are tax-deductible (minus the cost of event entry and drink tickets for sponsors) and directly benefit domestic violence survivors. Each band also has a $1,000 fundraising minimum.

Please note that this year FVAP will be reviewing bands’ song selections for mission fit. Please be conscientious in your artist and song selections. Examples of songs that would not be accepted for the show include ones that glamorize violence, demean a particular group, or are by an artist with a history of domestic violence. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, September 26. Applications are due by Friday, July 26!

This opportunity is in an effort to make band transitions smooth. 

Is your band interested in donating band equipment during the show? For each of the following instruments/pieces of equipment your band contributes to the backline, your fundraising page will be credited with votes!

guitar amp = +200 votes

bass amps = +300 votes

keyboard = +500 votes

drum = +500 votes

Don't delay! Spots are limited to 6 bands and fill up quickly. Band times are 20min sets and approximate start times for each include:
1. 6:15pm w/ 10min set change after
2. 6:45pm w/ 10min set change after
3. 7:15pm w/ 10min set change after 
 *  7:45pm current standing announcement
4. 7:50pm w/ 10min set change after
 *  8:20pm Halftime & current standing announcement
5. 8:25pm w/ 10min set change after
6. 8:55pm - 9:20pm

Final time slot assignments will be announced in September following the fundraising challenges and after taking into account these factors:
1) $20K Rock n' Roll Royalty sponsor is allowed to choose its own Band time slot
2) Pre-Event Fundraiser Challenge Winner will receive more stage time for one Extra Song
3) Pre-Event Fundraising Challenge Winner will get to pick their spot in the line up of the remaining time slots
