2025 Barney Ford Lab Annual Meeting/PRIEC
The Barney Ford Lab at CU Boulder is happy to announce that we are welcoming proposals for our annual meeting. Our annual meeting will take place in beautiful Boulder CO on Friday September 19th, 2025. The event will be co-organized with the Politics of Race, Immigration, and Ethnicity Consortium (PRIEC).

We welcome presentations using a variety of methodological tools, including mixed/qualitative methods and political theory. We have no geographical preference for research topics and welcome research using any country, combination of countries, or subnational regions. We especially welcome presentation proposals from graduate students and early career researchers on the job market who are unable to attend the 2025 APSA meeting in Canada.

No formal paper is required but use the following form to submit the presentation title and abstract (max 500 words) to be considered for inclusion in this exciting program by Sunday June 15th, 2025. Please let us know if you’re on the job market and unable to attend the 2025 APSA meeting. We welcome submissions from individuals in Colorado and beyond.
 
In addition to conference style presentations we will be hosting a poster session for graduate and undergraduate students.

There is no registration fee to participate. We'll be providing lunch/reception during the event. We'll follow up later about a possible hotel block/discounted lodging.

UPDATE 6/16/2025: We've closed submissions for main presentations, but submissions for the poster session and regular attendance is still open.
