The Atholton High School Jazz Ensembles are a way for student can experience high levels of music making, enjoy the music making process, and understand the value and legacy of jazz as an art form. Jazz Band provides opportunities for students to enjoy and appreciate a more full spectrum of music and education.

Note: Students are allowed 3 missed rehearsals. Dress rehearsal and concert are required.

Instrumentation

Students must play one of the following instruments:

Saxophone (alto, tenor, bari, soprano as needed)
Trumpet
Trombone
Guitar
Piano
Upright Bass
Electric Bass
Auxiliary percussion
Flute
Clarinet
Vocals

Students who play other instruments may fill out the form and talk to Ms. Swartz.
