Manuscripts of The Muslim World Project
Philadelphia has one of America's largest Muslim populations, and the Free Library seeks to recognize, engage, and celebrate its local Islamic communities by working together to create cultural enrichment programs (including traveling museum exhibition, Arabic language circles, and calligraphy classes) around Philadelphia.

The Free Library's Rare Book Department has been working to digitize and catalog its handwritten Islamic manuscripts thanks to a collaborative grant, and wants to make these books meaningful outside the Library's walls.

We are especially interested in your ideas and suggestions! Your participation is encouraged to make future programs meaningful.
