The Riverside BIA'sย
2026 roster of public events will bring together an exciting and diverse roster of programming on select weekends from June to November. We cannot do this without the help of amazing volunteers and we look forward to welcoming you!

*Event locations are within the
Riverside BIAย - located along the busy commercial district along Queen E between Davies Ave and Empire Ave, accessible to washrooms, car and bicycle parking, 501 and 504 transit routes, restaurants, cafes, convenience stores etc.
*All events with be led by experienced staff who will greet, orient, support and guide volunteers throughout their shift.
*All events will beย
rain or shine -ย unless there are weather warnings in placeย in which case you will be notified of a cancellation.ย ย
*All events are during the daytime on weekends.ย
*Volunteer activities could include: helping with set up of tables, tents, chairs, decor; interacting with the public and sharing information; helping with kids crafts or other activities; assisting with take down/clean up.
*Volunteers are responsible for bringing their own food, phone chargers, and any other items they may need while attending.
*Events will be promoted through various media formats and opportunities. All attendees including volunteers are encouraged to follow @riverside_bia on Instagram & share content using hashtags #RiversideTO. All events will be posted on our
website*Photos & videos will be taken at the events and shared on social media and other platforms and you are encouraged to share yours.
*Upon acceptance of your signup, you will receive an email of confirmation.ย Confirmed volunteers will receive more detailed information roughly a week ahead of each event date
*We are happy to provide a volunteer email/letter recognizing your hours/ duties following the volunteer shift, upon request
