Thank you for your interest in conducting energy audits in your school.

These educational resources for teachers was made possible by a Baltimore Gas and Electric Grant.  MAEOE created two energy tool kits containing five each of these three instruments: digital light meter, electricity usage monitor, and non-contact thermometer. Schools can borrow the kit for two weeks to conduct energy audits on their school campus.

Each Box costs about $250, so we ask that you please follow the guidelines stated below:

1. Inventory the box when you receive it. Notify the MAEOE at 410-777-9530, if anything is missing or broken.  If something is missing or broken when you return the box and have not notified us prior, you will be charged for the replacement of that part.

2. We want the materials to be used by the students, but we also know that accidents will happen.  If something is broken please save all the pieces.  Also, please do not forget to notify us, if something is in need of repair.
