Faculty Pathway Series: Career Trajectory Conversations

Join executive committee members of the Loyola University Chicago Retiree Association (LUCRA) Marilyn Susman (Counseling Psychology, School of Education; LUCRA), Sue Penckofer (School of Nursing; LUCRA), and Jon Nilson (Theology, College of Arts and Sciences) for this event.


The Career Trajectory Conversations workshop will provide an opportunity to hear about pathways that can enliven personal work satisfaction and enrich professional engagement. The LUCRA executive committee members will each speak for about 5-7 minutes about their career pathways within their departments, the University, and their fields. Participants will then split into breakout rooms with each speaker, to get more in-depth information and for an opportunity to discuss their thoughts on their own career development. 

  • Marilyn Susman will discuss opportunities for international engagement and consultation 

  • Sue Penckofer will discuss opportunities in administration 

  • Jon Nilson will discuss maintaining enthusiasm with writing and research 

This event will take place via zoom* on Wednesday, January 10th, from 1:00- 2:30 pm.
