WHO:
We welcome any and all folks who feel eligible for this opportunity to apply. We would like to acknowledge that many communities and peoples may feel the negative effects of racism, xenophobia, agism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, sexism, and other disadvantages when applying for different opportunities in business and agriculture. We remain committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility and uphold these values whenever we have the honor of selecting folks to join our urban farm community.
Our Pay What You Can Farm Market is a staple in the LeDroit Park neighborhood where folks come weekly to the farm to get fresh produce, try new foods, pick-up and exchange recipes, and to spend time in a welcoming, blossoming, vibrant environment.
Markets are on Wednesdays from 3:30 - 6:30pm, running from May 6th - Nov 5th (with a few exceptions due to holidays and closures). We ask for vendors to commit to market time, plus set-up and break down -- one hour before and one hour after.
