National Data Collection Initiative on Education and Employment of Persons with Disabilities

Down Syndrome South Africa (DSSA), in formal research partnership with ShonaquipSE, is undertaking a coordinated national data collection initiative focused on the education and employment experiences of persons with disabilities to better understand the schooling history, post-school pathways, and current employment status of adults with disabilities.

This survey is for research and statistical purposes only and aims to collect credible data to strengthen advocacy, programme development, policy engagement, inform programme design (including supported employment initiatives), and support constructive engagement with policymakers and stakeholders.
