By participating in the Adopt-a-Landing program and signing this agreement, you hereby agree to waive all liability regarding any injuries or personal damages caused while participating in the landing cleanup. *

Agreement: All Adopt-a-Landing contracts shall be reviewed every two years. The named entity agrees to pick up litter twice a year for a minimum of two years along the adopted landing. The entity agrees to notify the Adopt-a-Landing Coordinator prior to and upon completion of its collections. The entity agrees to submit data collection forms to the Adopt-a-Landing Coordinator following cleanups. This agreement shall be valid for a period of two years. The entity may cancel this agreement with written notice to Waccamaw RIVERKEEPER® Program of Winyah Rivers Foundation. The Waccamaw RIVERKEEPER® Program of Winyah Rivers Foundation may cancel this agreement if the above-named entity fails to meet its obligations for its adopted landing. Participants will be notified in writing prior to canceling this agreement and removing signs. We reserve the right to revise or discontinue the Adopt-a Landing Program at any time. *

Adopt-a-Landing Sign Request Form: Each volunteer group is entitled to an Adopt-a-Landing sign that will be placed on the landing premises. Signs will not be issued until two cleanups have been completed and all necessary documents are returned. You have the option of two lines with the possibility of 16 characters per line. Punctuation marks count as one letter. If the name of your organization can fit on one line, the sign maker will use a larger character for better visibility. Please include only the name of your group or organization. Phrases such as "In Memory of" or "In Honor of" will not be allowed on the Adopt-a-Landing signs. The Adopt-a- Landing Coordinator must approve all signs.
