Family Council - Oct 2025 Call for Qs & Comments
Are you a parent or family member with questions you'd like to ask ACPS leadership? Do you have "public comment" you'd like to share with fellow family members committed to the ACPS mission? Submit them below! As a reminder, Family Council is a parent/family-led all-volunteer organization. (Be honest but also nice please.)

#1 -- Share your questions! See our detailed guidelines for questions here... the quick version:
 - Questions should be division-level (not unique to your child or only about your school).
 - Questions that are deemed not respectful will not be shared with ACPS leaders.
 - Submitting a question does not guarantee a response, but we will share the full list with ACPS regardless.
 - Answers received will be posted on our website and Facebook page, and distributed via our members to each school via our Substack, PTOs and/or principals.

#2 -- Invited Comment -- This month we plan to discuss Struggling Learners. If you have specific comments about this district's approach to this theme, we invite comments on this topic.

#3 -- We love hearing from you! We welcome comments about what's on your mind about our school system, so feel free to share about any topic below. That said, we need to maintain a positive relationship with ACPS leaders... and we are volunteering our time & energy. We reserve the right to omit or annotate comments that we judge to be disrespectful.

We will NOT share your email address or personal information. We ask for this information to limit potential mischief & so Officers of Family Council can contact you as needed for clarification. We are a group of volunteers that read these questions and comments, not ACPS staff. We do not have capacity to send each person an email with an answer or response... please follow our website and Facebook page. Comments will be published in our Minutes for the month, which will be posted on our website.

Deadline = Sunday October 12, 2025
