The Black Cultural Programming Committee Membership Application 2019-2020
The Black Cultural Programming Committee (BCPC) is a student organization that develops and presents cultural programs and activities that enhance and promote awareness of African-American culture and its accomplishments. BCPC is a department-sponsored student organization associated with the Office of Multicultural Student Life. Through its programming, BCPC fosters an atmosphere for unity, diversity, and interaction among students, faculty and staff. BCPC sponsors a variety of cultural, recreational, and social activities that include appearances by Phylicia Rashad, Amanda Seales, Deray McKesson, Emmanuel Hudson, and DeRay Davis. Getting involved with BCPC as a member provides an opportunity to learn about programming, teamwork, leadership, and African-American culture.

Our interest meeting will be Monday, February 4th at 5:30 p.m., and the Membership Drive will be on Saturday, February 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Both will be held in the Frieson Black Cultural Center.

If you have any questions or concerns, email either Morgan Jeffries (mjeffri4@vols.utk.edu) and Stacie Elliot (sellio20@vols.utk.edu).
