Hunter GT/AIG Elementary Magnet Tours 2019-20
We are thrilled that you are interested Hunter Gifted and Talented/Academically Intellectually Gifted Basics Magnet Elementary for the 2020-21 school year! We are well-aware that the school you choose for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. During your visit, we will show how your child can benefit from our school and its award-winning Gifted and Talented/AIG program.

ALL TOURS: Visit some classrooms and share GT/AIG theme aspects of school offerings
MORNING TOURS : 9:30 Classroom focus
PM TOURS: 1:00 Elective Class focus

Evening tour event: December 12, 6:00-6:45
Families will meet student ambassadors, teachers, and parent volunteers who will share aspects of our theme, show you our building, and answer any questions you may have. YOU ARE INVITED to stay afterwards for our DANCE/CHORUS concert in our Gym from 7:00-7:45!

The SHOWCASE Open House on January 14th at 10 am or 12 pm. It will include LIVE performances and student led stations in the gym. A short tour around the school will follow the Showcase presentations. All tours will last approximately 1 hr 15 min. Prospective students are welcome to attend with parents!

Magnet Application period is October 26-January 30, 2020.
