About the Study

Thank you for your interest in this research project.

My name is Cam Starbuck, a PhD researcher at The University of Edinburgh. You can find a little more about me at my Centre for Research in Digital Education profile here: https://www.de.ed.ac.uk/people/cam-starbuck.

This PhD study explores how teachers experience and understand the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies in education. The research is interested in how these technologies influence everyday teaching practice, decision-making, professional responsibilities, and how teachers perceive their role within an increasingly digital educational environment.

The study seeks to hear from secondary school teachers with a range of experiences and levels of familiarity with AI and educational technologies. You do not need to be an expert in AI to participate; the research is interested in teachers' perspectives and experiences.

Participation involves a one-to-one interview lasting approximately 60 minutes, conducted either in-person or online at a time convenient to you. All information shared will be treated confidentially and anonymised in any research outputs. Further information on this will be provided if you agree to participate.

If you would like to take part, please complete the form below and I will contact you with further information.
