Here is a quick description of our PTSA Committees!
  • Community Building Committee: Is all about connecting our Madrona families to one another by hosting community-facing events such as the Back-to-School BBQ, Popsicles in the Park, and Pizza in the Park.
  • Enrichment Committee: Helps support our students while they are in school to make their experience at Madrona elementary educational and fun! Organizes events like the garden work parties and field day.
  • Family Resources Committee: Works with the school to make sure our students and families have what they need to thrive and organizes our Giving Wreath and family support during school breaks.
  • Fundraising Commitee: Organizing fundraising opportunities in collaboration with other committees and organizing Madrona Elementary's main fundraiser: Move-a-thon!
  • Staff Appreciation Comittee: Organizes monthly community-sourced potlucks with a different theme each month, organizes teacher appreciation week, and stocks the staff lounge with snacks.
Joining a committee means you will be added to the Committee's contact list to help organize events. Our goal is to make sure that every Madrona community member knows how to get involved and feels welcome to do so, as much or as little as they want to and are able.

Check out our website for a more detailed description of these committees.
