Complete Required Checks 
  • Complete a Police Information Check: Ensure you choose the Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (the first of the two options). These can be completed online at https://www.policesolutions.ca/checks/services/edmonton/.  Here is a link to the letter needed for obtaining a police information check. The estimated turnaround time for applications is 10 business days. The completed check must be presented on your next volunteer day, after the completed check is received. 
  • Complete a Child Intervention Record Check: https://www.alberta.ca/obtain-a-child-intervention-record-check . To request a Child Intervention Record Check application form, you must email your regional office (emails listed on the webpage) and ask for the form to be sent to you. 
Must Attend Volunteer Orientation!
