Teaching Social Practice - Regional Event
This is a planning survey for a regional event focused on teaching social practice, to be held at UMASS Dartmouth this October. It will be a single-afternoon event (likely Noon - 5 or 6pm). There is no registration fee and lunch will be provided. Specific sub-topics will be determined based on the feedback from this survey. If this is an event you are interested in attending, please take the brief survey below.

Also, please spread the word. We have targeted messaging to individuals in MA/RI/CT, but there is certainly no limit on who can attend.

We'll collect responses from this survey for the next month, and let everyone know the official date/time of the event by July 1, 2017.

Do you have any interest in doing a brief presentation, leading a discussion, or activity, etc? If yes, please elaborate.
Your answer
Please list any specific items you'd like to explore, but might not be comfortable presenting or leading a discussion on the topic.
Your answer
We're thinking about also hosting a project/assignment exchange - would you be interested in participating? (This involves providing a copy of an social-practice-related project/assignment to the group, and receiving copies of everyone else's projects in return.) You do not need to submit the project at this time.
Is there anything else we should consider including in this event?
Your answer
We have secured 3 need-based travel stipends of $150 to help part-time instructors and grad students attend. If you are interested in applying for one of these stipends, please submit a paragraph explaining your situation and how the event would benefit you. Also, if you know someone else that would benefit from one of these stipends, please spread the word.
