Hanley's Farm Community Garden Member Form
"Growing kai and fostering connections"

This form is to be filled in by interested people wanting to join the Hanleys Farm Community Garden. By doing so you consent to becoming a member of the Hanleys Farm Community Garden Association Incorporated on the terms set out in the constitution. A copy of the constitution will be shared with all those interested in becoming members on request, and will be made publicly available after the association is legally incorporated.

The Gardens are run by its members on a volunteer basis. Our purpose is to be an inclusive space for our community to grow kai and foster connections.

Most of the garden will be dedicated to communal gardening, this includes the green houses and the orchard. However there will be some individual outdoor plots available for people to have sole use of. Please indicate what sort of gardening you are interested in. *

In order to run the gardens we need the support of its members. Please indicate which of the following type of membership would best suit you (you can select both choices)
1. You are keen to share what you know about gardening with others and can help us organise a working bee every now and then (Working Bee Helper)
2. I'm very new to gardening and I just wish to come along and learn how to grow kai and meet new people (Community member)

As part of the Hanelys Farm Community Garden constitution, we require that all members commit to a minimum of 6 working bees per year. This ensures that people are participating in keeping that gardens well maintained and the workload is shared evenly, while also fostering new connections with those in our community. *
