Thanks for your interest in Super Bloom 2026 tryouts! We're excited to continue building off our 2025 WUL Championship, and we're grateful you are interested in being a part of it.

TRYOUT INFO

This year, we are hosting two tryouts: one open and one invite-only. If you cannot make the open tryout, please make sure you share that with us below.

All Super Bloom tryout events are open to female, non-binary, and trans athletes.

EXPECTATIONS

We expect everyone to be cleated and ready to go at the start time on the dates below. We will start with warmups, do a series of drills, and then scrimmage. Throughout all of this, we will be assessing your skills, your attitude, your willingness to learn, and what kind of teammate you are. We want to create an environment of high performance, growth, and trust. We will emulate that at these tryouts and we expect you to do the same.

All tryouts will be at Nobel Fields (8810 Judicial Dr, San Diego, CA 92122)

SEASON OVERVIEW

While the 2026 WUL Schedule is yet to be determined, here is a high-level overview of the season schedule:

November - December 2025: Tryouts
December 2025: Rosters set
January through March 2026: Pre-Season
March through May 2026: Regular season
June 2026: Post-season

Established in 2020, Super Bloom Ultimate is a grassroots, volunteer-run, registered California nonprofit based in San Diego. Our mission is to grow the sport of ultimate frisbee with diversity, equity, and inclusion in mind. We do this by building community partnerships and providing diverse playing opportunities - including high-level competition - for women, girls, trans, and nonbinary athletes of all genders in the Greater San Diego area. In addition, we host skills clinics, recreational tournaments, youth events, community workshops, and more.

San Diego Super Bloom is the professional ultimate team affiliated with our organization. The team competes in the Western Ultimate League (WUL) against several other pro teams along the West Coast.
