About Urban Harvest:
The Urban Harvest Program is a collaborative project with the City of Toronto and Black Creek Community Farm, supported by FoodShare, to help reduce food waste through food redistribution and preservation workshops.

About the preservation workshops:
We will be offering preservation workshops throughout the months of September to December, co-facilitated by our trainees in Food Preservation Community Leaders.
Possible workshop topics include: making jams, pickling, canning, dehydrating and sauce making. Potential workshop locations are: Black Creek Community Farm - 4929 Jane st.; Green Change - 2999 Jane st.; 415 Driftwood Ave.; 15 San Romanoway; Food Share - 120 Industry st.
Workshops are usually 2-3 hours long, and dates are to be confirmed with at least 10 days in advance. We will email you with the dates and location as soon as it's confirmed.
