2023 Michigan Day of Empathy
This is the registration for Michigan's Day of Empathy at the Capitol. The Day of Empathy is a national day of action to generate empathy, humanize, and uplift the stories of justice-impacted people. Please know contact information collected during the registration process will be shared with our national partners at Dream.org and our co-sponsors at their request.

If you wish to participate in the legislative visits and you register after the 15th of February, 2023, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to schedule a visit for you. We will do our best.

Legislative Visits
Day of Empathy is the perfect time to visit your legislators to discuss how Michigan's justice system has impacted you and your loved ones. We at Safe and Just Michigan will be coordinating group visits with state legislators and staffers. If you have never done a legislative visit before, don't worry. We will prep and support you to interact confidently with your representative.  If you want to participate in a legislative visit, we ask that you register by 5pm February 15th. After the 15th, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to schedule your visits.
