2019 Standing Committees Application
The Minnesota Young DFL (MYDFL) is currently seeking applications for two of our MYDFL Standing Committees, the Issues, Advocacy, and Action Committee and the Candidate Support Committee. You can find descriptions of the committees, the number of spots available, and any prerequisites.

All work completed by standing committees shall be reported to the Central Committee. Standing committees shall meet at least three times per year. All appointees must be approved by the Central Committee by a simple majority vote.

Issues, Advocacy, and Action Committee
The Issues, Advocacy, and Action Committee shall track and evaluate legislation and major issues of the day on the General Committee's behalf, recommend policy and issue positions to the General Committee, and coordinate with the General Committee, local chapters, college chapters, and the wider MYDFL membership to advance progressive causes through grassroots action.

There are sixteen (16) positions on the Issues, Advocacy, and Action Committee currently open. No more than two (2) appointed members of the Issues, Advocacy, and Action Committee members may be from the same congressional district.
Candidate Support Committee
The Candidate Support Committee shall help coordinate and execute direct support for MYDFL endorsed candidates.

There are fourteen (14) positions on the Candidate Support Committee currently open. No more than two (2) appointed members Candidate Support Committee members may be from the same congressional district.
