OLLI Course Proposal Form
Thank you for your interest in facilitating a course for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. To submit a course proposal please complete the form below. Once submitted, you will receive an email with the form attached. Once the form is reviewed to ensure all information is complete, you will receive a letter of agreement (LOA). The LOA will include all final details of the course and is your opportunity to review request any final changes. Please allow for a number of weeks to complete this process. Once all arrangements are confirmed and finalized you will be notified and sent an informational packet about the coming semester.

Proposed Course Title:
A strong and enticing title is an effective way to interest readers in your course. Creating an interesting title engages readers is the secret to success. Titles should be short, concise and memorable.

Briefly describe the class, including what makes it unique and appealing. The description should be aimed at the participants and include what specific outcomes they can expect. OLLI staff may ask to edit in order to fit our formatting requirements, however you will have every opportunity to review before final approval (Please limit to 165 words or less).

OLLI class session are typically 2 hours in length, however we will try to accommodate request for longer and/or shorter sessions.

Most locations of OLLI programs are equipped with a laptop, projector, speakers and whiteboard. This information will help ensure the venue for your course has the equipment needed.
What type of room setting do you prefer?
If you are a U of A graduate student please note it here as we are required to receive prior approval from the Graduate School before approving your course.

OLLI is a volunteer driven organization therefore we encourage ALL instructors to donate their time, however, we understand that this may not be feasible for everyone. If you require other arrangements choose from the list below which option you prefer. Additionally, to comply with Fayetteville Policies and Procedures 402.1, all Osher Institute instructors and course facilitators may need to complete to a background check. Donate your services
Payment ($25 per instructional hour)
Use as community service or for tenure. A letter can be provided by OLLI staff.
