All staff must participate in one year of volunteering or under mentorship from a department head (past or present).
Department head positions require 2 years of staff status or under mentorship from department head and approval from upper management. Any exemption to this rule requires special approval from board of director and con chair(s).
Departments we are looking for:
1 - Marketing - which includes social media, street team, sponsorship, charity events, and community outreach
2 - Registration - money handling, badge printing, merchandise sales, and info booth.
3 - Tech - set up and break down, stage production, panel room set ups, and IT
4 - Guest Relations - VIP liaison, guest handling and guest transportation. Find special guest
5 - Art Department - Make graphics for social media, signs, con guide, and badges
6 - Cosplay - contest and event registration.
7 - Programming - Make schedule, find panels and premium events. Check in panels day of. Time management of events.
8 - Vendor/Artist Coordinator - Check in vendors and artist to table. Be liaisons for what they need or concerns. Maintain e-mail and prescreen vendor and artist.
9 - Security - Incident response. Provide a safe environment for everyone.
10 - Volunteer Coordinator - Get volunteer for event and schedule and manage volunteers. Provide volunteers with proper paperwork for community service hours.
11 - Management - Manage staff and to maintain consistent time lines and deadlines.
You must be 18 and over to apply for a staff position.
