To the Parents of 5th Grade Students:

This year, your fifth grader participated in an introductory second language exploratory experience which will enable him/her to make an informed decision in selecting the language to be studied in the middle school.  French, Italian, or Spanish will be offered on an alternating day basis to all sixth grade students.  Children are expected to remain with their language choice until the completion of eighth grade.

Please fill out the necessary information and select your top two choices.  We will make every attempt to honor your first choice.  All submissions must be completed by Friday, February 16, 2018.

Please be aware that all students are required to take a world language at the middle school level unless specifically noted by our PPS personnel at your annual review meeting.  We look forward to sharing this decision-making with you as partners in your child’s middle school education.
